Opening a Paypal account may seem complicated especially for a beginner, but it is actually fast and easy. Just follow these steps and you can start enjoying your online transactions with your Paypal account.
2. Click the SIGN UP NOW link
3. You will be asked if the account will be for personal or business use – choose personal
4. Select your country on the drop down tab next to the personal account. If your country is not on the list of choices, then you cannot access Paypal.
5. Fill up the necessary personal information
a. Country of citizenship
b. Preferred primary currency - if your local currency is not there, just choose USD (US dollars) since most online transactions are in dollars. You can still edit this afterwards.
c. Email address - this will be connected to your account so better put your primary email address
d. Log in Password - better take note of this
e. Secret question - Also take note of this. This shall be asked if ever you happened to forget your password.
f. Set this as your premier account
g. Read and accept the user agreements and enter the displayed letters
h. Click the sign up button at the bottom of the page
6. Set up your credit card information - if you do not have a credit card, a debit card (Visa card/MasterCard) or a valid bank account will also do. If you have none of these yet, just skip this by clicking cancel and going to the next page.
7. Check and confirm your email address on the next page. Click continue if that's correct.
8. Open your email and check on the confirmation message that Paypal has sent. Click the link that says CLICK HERE TO ACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNT.
9. Congratulations, you now have a Paypal account! :)
10. Next step will be to Verify your Account
